BIO / Samantha Grant
Samantha Grant is an experienced actor whose career has spanned across continents in theatre, film and television.
Samantha Grant was born in Montreal, Quebec. She began her acting studies as a teenager under the guidance of Pauline Rathbone and later trained in the Theatre program at John Abbott College.
Her love of performance led her to the Studio Theatre Workshop, where she toured with productions of Shakespeare and poetry. She has also lived abroad in Italy and the UK, and her work has taken her on extensive travels around the world.
Since 1996, Samantha has been acting in Canada, studying with renowned coaches including Ivana Chubbuck, Cameron Thor, and Larry Moss. In addition to acting, she has a natural gift for interviewing—hosting a live internet business news show—and was once the subject of a documentary promo while on an African off-road camping safari.
Her creative pursuits extend well beyond the stage and screen. Samantha is a versatile performer and storyteller whose work includes acting and voice-over projects, as well as writing and painting as outlets for her artistic expression. She is equally passionate about mentoring others, sharing her experience through coaching to help emerging artists find their own voices and confidence.
Her passion for storytelling also extends into applied performance, bringing realism to dramatic SPFX and improvisational training scenarios for police, military, and first responders.
Since 2006, Alberta has been her home, where she lives with her husband and son.
